These are the formulae for calculating stamp duty for tenancy agreements depending on the duration of the tenancy:

1 year or less


stamp duty = (monthly rental x 12 - 2400)/250

More than 1 year but equal to or less than 3 years


stamp duty = [(monthly rental x 12)/250] x 2

More than 3 years


stamp duty = [(monthly rental x 12)/250] x 4
